Burt’s Bees Facial Cleansing Towelettes, Cucumber and Sage – starting your day with the fresh, clean, and calming scent of cucumber has been scientifically (and tested by me) to assist with the elevated heart rate that, so often, plagues those afflicted with anxiety. The act of taking just a few seconds to focus on a particular scent (and one that cleanses your face, as well) can be considered an act of self-care or meditation. Before, perhaps, considering another scent, please keep in mind that some scents will elevate the heart rate – not what is needed with anxiety.
Room & Body Mist, Essential Oil Blend – Lavender & Chamomile – Chamomile and Lavender are the most popular (and cheapest) of the natural oils used to treat anxiety. Having a spray handy (or an object that has been sprayed with said oils) can instantly relieve feelings of anxiety. I have a little pouch my aunt made me that has little beads of lavender I can put a few drops of lavender oil on and keep in my purse.
